Telehealth Equity: Patient-Specific Needs explores the barriers to telehealth equity and accessibility by identifying individual-level and team-based solutions for patients with communication barriers, such as those with vision or hearing impairment and those who do not speak English. This course also includes an analysis of terminology and communication techniques for transgender and gender-diverse patients, as well as a review of trauma-related considerations, including gender concordance and implications for telehealth providers.
