Seeks to develop cognitive agility—the ability to question one’s assumptions, beliefs, and biases—and identify opportunities to elevate interactions between providers and patients. Case studies will be used to have learners contemplate questions related to “grey areas,” situations in which the intentional exercise of cultural humility would have improved a patient or co-provider experience or eliminated a perception that sexual harassment was exhibited.
