This learning activity focuses on areas of risk a provider may encounter in clinical practice including safe monitoring strategies for patients receiving buprenorphine, naloxone and post overdose monitoring, benzodiazepine toxicity, non-opioid pain management options, managing acute opioid and tobacco withdrawal symptoms, and multidisciplinary approach in the care of patients who are receiving opioids and who have chronic pain, substance misuse, and mental health conditions.
