Studies increasingly show that patients do not feel the informed consent discussion meets their needs, and healthcare professionals (HCPs) express difficulty in conducting the conversation effectively in real patient situations. This course helps HCPs increase their knowledge of ways to engage in a patient-centered informed consent discussion that can meet the needs of both HCPs and patients.
