Due to ongoing nursing shortages, increasingly complex patient needs, and financial concerns, delegation has become a critical skill for registered nurses (RNs) to master in today’s healthcare environment. Yet, many RNs lack the experience and knowledge to effectively delegate. This course takes the learner through the risks and benefits of delegation and uses a case study to illustrate a common nursing delegation scenario.
