Correctional Medicine: Risk Management examines issues prevalent in the correctional facility population, including identifying suicide risk and coordinating management with clinic staff, meeting standards of care for the diagnosis and treatment of communicable diseases when financial and personnel challenges are present, and addressing the concerns of inmates who believe they have received care so deficient that it constitutes cruel and unusual punishment in violation of their constitutionally protected rights.
