Med-IQ, an ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), is sponsoring this regional workshop series, which is part of the complimentary, certified performance improvement (PI) CME initiative, Performance Improvement Strategies in Multiple Sclerosis.

Through interactive discussions, case presentations, and breakout sessions, participants of the workshop, Clinical Challenges in the Assessment and Management of Multiple Sclerosis, will explore the complicated decisions associated with managing patients with MS. Expert faculty will cover a variety of topics, including selecting appropriate patients for disease-modifying treatments, monitoring therapeutic response, determining the need for treatment changes, and assessing for MS-related complications.

"Significant advances in the recognition and management of MS have provided more therapeutic options and increased the complexity of optimizing treatment for the individual patient," said faculty expert Bruce A. Cohen, MD. "During this interactive workshop, we will review guidelines, consensus statements, recent developments, and new insights for improving MS management for enhanced patient care."

The workshop will be held in three cities across the United States:
•   New York, NY—July 23, The Michelangelo Hotel
•   Detroit/Southfield, MI—August 6, The Westin Southfield Detroit
•   Houston, TX—August 6, The Houstonian Hotel

Each workshop has been approved for up to 2.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM and 2.5 contact hours for nurses. Due to the popularity of this event and limited seating, all interested parties must register and be confirmed to attend.
