Donna Harris promoted to Senior Director, US/Global Education

BALTIMORE, MD—January 26, 2017—Med-IQ, an award-winning, ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), is pleased to announce the promotion of Donna Harris to Senior Director, US/Global Education.

Donna has spent the past 17 years in the healthcare and CME space and has an extensive background in developing and delivering educational activities in the United States, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She joined Med-IQ in 2012 as Director of Grant Development and works with Med-IQ's clinical content and operations teams to design educational interventions that address critical practice gaps in healthcare.

While at Med-IQ, Donna has expanded the company's educational offerings across multiple therapeutic areas, most notably in the hematology/oncology space, to include live and digital platforms as well as quality improvement initiatives. She is an active member of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Profession (ACEhp) and Global Alliance for Medical Education and is part of the planning committee for ACEhp's annual Quality and Innovation Summit.  

In her new role, Donna and her team will continue to identify education gaps and design interventions that improve clinician knowledge and performance in the global healthcare community.
