BALTIMORE, MD—December 24, 2013—Med-IQ, an award-winning, accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), is pleased to announce an expanded portfolio of services now available through its Division of Educational Services and Collaborations.
Med-IQ is dedicated to improving healthcare quality in the United States by providing accessible, practice-focused CME/CE interventions that are timely, effective, and relevant to clinicians’ needs and that address issues that will lead to better patient care. Since 2009, Med-IQ has designed more than 225 educational activities across multiple therapeutic areas and medical specialties, educating more than 84,400 providers nationwide.
As a recognized leader in the CME/CE industry, we have expanded our service offerings to partner with outside organizations, including academic medical centers, medical associations, and hospitals, to provide top-quality educational interventions to clinicians across the country.

Outcomes Services: Our goal is to design education that improves clinician knowledge, competency, performance, confidence, and—ultimately—patient care. Results of our outcomes assessments often serve to identify persistent and/or new gaps or learning needs. Our award-winning outcomes department can provide full-service solutions for CME/CE activities sponsored by outside organizations, including the development of outcomes questions and needs assessment surveys for live and enduring activities.
Clinical Content Development: Our in-house clinical content staff consists of experienced professionals holding advanced degrees in medicine, pharmacy, and biological sciences who collaborate with leading faculty members and subject-matter experts from around the country to deliver the most current, evidence-based information on diagnosis and treatment strategies to improve the quality of care delivered to patients. With a diverse portfolio of disease-based education, our content is designed to promote a commitment to lifelong learning through self-paced, modular formats with an emphasis on sustained and applied learning.
Technology Solutions: Our in-house technology department can provide online technology solutions for your educational needs. We offer proprietary technology solutions for performance improvement (PI) and quality improvement (QI) CME activities and will soon be launching a customizable online forum to connect healthcare professionals from across the country.
Audience Generation and Concierge Services: Med-IQ’s personal approach to audience generation helps ensure target participation goals are met. To build brand recognition among service offerings, our recruitment strategies involve a variety of mediums to maximize reach and frequency of communication based on past experience with each target audience, educational platform, and market trend. In addition, Med-IQ has a dedicated concierge team that serves as a central point of contact for participant questions, challenges, technical difficulties, and feedback that has helped lead to higher participation rates and enhanced participant satisfaction.
Project Management and Logistic Support: From national symposia to multi-city, interactive workshop series, Med-IQ’s project management team provides logistic support for the planning and execution of live events. Services include schedule coordination, budget management, venue selection, and on-site registration support.
