Med-IQ.
Inspiring Medical Education.

BALTIMORE, MD—November 5, 2013—Registration is now open for a free CME/CE-certified workshop series designed for oncologists and oncology nurses who treat patients with pancreatic, lung, and hepatocellular tumors.

Med-IQ, an award-winning, ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education, is sponsoring this regional workshop series, Oncology Connection: Contemporary Strategies for the Management of Solid Tumors, in select cities across the country this December:

“Community oncology practitioners manage patients with a variety of tumor types, so they must be adept at treating different kinds of cancer,” said Mark A. Socinski, MD of University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, PA. “These clinicians are faced with the challenge of keeping pace with a constantly changing field where new clinical data, advances in molecular biology, emerging agents, and guideline updates influence clinical practice. This workshop series will better help them assimilate new information on several different types of tumors.”

Workshop participants will explore clinical evidence and practical examples through a combination of expert faculty presentation, team-based discussion, and peer-based problem solving. The workshops will be held from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM; breakfast and lunch will be served. Oncologists, oncology nurses, and members of their clinical care teams can register for free by calling (toll-free) 866 858 7434, e-mailing info@med-iq.com, or completing this brief online form. For more information on workshop locations and agenda, please visit www.Med-IQ.com/a742.
