BALTIMORE, MD—September 3, 2013—Med-IQ is pleased to announce that co-CEO, Scott Weber, will be presenting on the topic of quality improvement (QI) in continuing medical education (CME) at two upcoming industry conferences this fall.
QI is increasingly being recognized as a significant component of comprehensive, high-quality CME that can lead to actionable change in clinician/system performance and improved patient outcomes. It is, therefore, important that CE providers understand and identify the most effective methods and models for integrating QI into educational activities.
Med-IQ has been instrumental in advancing the science of performance improvement (PI) and QI in CME, publishing numerous studies in peer-reviewed literature. On behalf of Med-IQ, Mr. Weber, will be sharing lessons learned and best practices from our experiences in the development and implementation of more than 30 successful PI- and QI-based CME activities.
