Med-IQ.
Inspiring Medical Education.

BALTIMORE, MD—June 25, 2013—Registration is now underway for a free CME/CE-certified breakfast workshop series designed to help hematology/oncology clinicians with the clinical management of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM).

Med-IQ, an award-winning, ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education, is sponsoring this regional workshop series, Overcoming Challenges in the Treatment of Relapsed/Refractory Multiple Myeloma, in select cities across the country this summer:

Recent advances in the management of multiple myeloma have led to significant improvements in response rates and overall survival. Healthcare providers are often faced with challenges when treating these patients, including selecting optimal treatment strategies for patients with relapsed or refractory disease. Although several agents are effective in the salvage setting, when making therapeutic decisions, it is important to consider clinical evidence, patient-related factors, treatment-related side effects, quality of life, and the role of autologous stem cell transplant.

Using both didactic and case-based learning, along with small-group peer discussions and Q&A with nationally renowned faculty experts, participants will explore the latest clinical evidence and guideline recommendations for the optimal management of patients with RRMM. A unique component of the workshop series is the inclusion of patient videos, where participants will hear first hand from patients about real-world challenges of living with this disease.

The workshops will be held from 7:30 to 10:30 AM; breakfast will be served. Space is limited. Hematologists, oncologists, nurses, and members of their clinical care teams can register for free by calling (toll-free) 866 858 7434, e-mailing info@med-iq.com, or completing this brief online form.
