BALTIMORE, Md.—November 6, 2012—Med-IQ, an award-winning, ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), is pleased to announce the launch of the complimentary, certified CME series, Overactive Bladder in Primary Care.

This educational series consists of one 60-minute CME-certified Webcast and two 45-minute patient cases (one male, one female) that review contemporary clinical evidence and treatment recommendations for managing patients with overactive bladder (OAB). In this CME offering from Med-IQ, participants can begin by completing a brief online self-assessment. Results of the assessment will direct each participant’s learning for a more customized educational experience.

"OAB has a significant and damaging effect on the quality of life, sleep, and mental well-being of men and women. Despite the damage OAB can inflict on the lives of patients, a gap persists between chronic symptoms and effective treatment," said Matt T. Rosenberg, MD, Medical Director of the Mid-Michigan Health Centers in Jackson, MI.

In this CME series, expert faculty will discuss current OAB management options, emerging agents that have the potential to change current practice, and the importance of treatment adherence and persistence to help improve patient quality of life.

Clinicians can participate in this interactive series on-demand at www.Med-IQ.com/a645.
