BALTIMORE, MD—July 24, 2012—Med-IQ, an award-winning, ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), is pleased to announce the continued expansion of its grant development team with the appointment of Donna Harris as Director of Educational Grant Development.

Harris joins a team of educational professionals at Med-IQ who lead program and grant development partnerships, business expansion, and long-term educational strategy.

"We are excited to have Donna join our team," said Scott E. Weber, co-CEO of Med-IQ. "Her expertise in live meetings and outcomes will complement the educational design process within our organization."

Harris’ 10 years in the healthcare industry include senior CME experience in grant and business development, strategic planning, outcomes measurement, operations, events, training, and client services.

Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Georgia and is an active member of the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions.

"The recent addition of both Donna and Kate Evans to our grant development team further Med-IQ’s commitment to delivering high quality certified CME designed to improve patient care," said Weber.

"Med-IQ’s core values are a natural fit for my experience and work ethic," said Harris. "I look forward to developing activities that meet the evolving needs of clinician learners."
