Developed to help clinicians improve the care of their patients with or at risk of osteoporosis, the symposium will explore current issues in osteoporosis recognition, the individualization of treatment, successful patient monitoring, and the evolution of treatment with new strategies. Designed to be highly interactive, the symposium will include small-group discussions and expert faculty panel debates following a series of complex case presentations.

“Although significant advances have been made in the identification and treatment of patients with osteoporosis, diagnosis and treatment of this growing population of patients continues to be both a public health concern and a clinical challenge,” said faculty expert and program chair, Michael R. McClung, MD. “During this comprehensive symposium, we will review difficult cases to examine the present state of osteoporosis care, the application of current guidelines, and the future of osteoporosis management.”

The symposium will be held in Toronto, Canada, in conjunction with the ASBMR 2010 Annual Meeting. Attendees of the ASBMR 2010 Annual Meeting are invited to attend this complimentary CME symposium on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at 7:15 PM at The Fairmont Royal York (ASBMR’s headquarter hotel).

Participants can earn up to 2.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Interested participants can pre-register by completing this brief online form, calling 866 858 7434, or e-mailing info@med-iq.com.
