Jeanne Cornish, RPh, Joins Med-IQ
as Director of Educational Strategy

BALTIMORE, Md.—July 8, 2008—Med-IQ, America’s most respected continuing medical education company, today announced the appointment of Jeanne Cornish, RPh, as Director of Educational Strategy. In this capacity, Ms. Cornish will join a team of healthcare professionals in designing innovative educational activities and effective learning experiences that address maintenance of certification competencies for healthcare professionals.

Ms. Cornish has more than 26 years of healthcare experience developing medical education programs, articles, and presentations; researching and analyzing medical literature; designing and developing information systems; and implementing quality improvement programs. She earned her pharmacy degree at the University of Colorado’s School of Pharmacy. Ms. Cornish’s prior affiliations have included Ascend Media Healthcare, intellyst® Medical Communications, Postgraduate Institute for Medicine, and Micromedex (Thompson Corp.).

Dr. Karcher has a strong clinical background with more than 13 years of healthcare experience including researching, writing, and presenting monographs, therapeutic class reviews, and drug usage guidelines in several therapeutic areas.

William A. Mencia, MD, Vice President of Education and Medical Affairs
Dr. Mencia’s background includes more than 10 years of clinical CME experience, committee memberships in the Alliance for CME, and annual meeting presentations on various topics for the Alliance for CME and Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Michael L. Santiago, MD, Clinical Content Manager
Dr. Santiago is an internal medicine physician with proven experience developing educational content for diabetes, urology, gastroenterology, HIV, cardiology, and infectious disease programs.
