Overview: In this video, Joseph Lim, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine and Director of the Yale Viral Hepatitis Program highlights some of the exciting updates following the 2016 American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases annual meeting in November of 2016. Dr. Lim provides an overview of important real-world data about the efficacy of available direct acting antiviral therapies that were presented at the meeting as well as clinical trial data for regimens that are in late stages of development. In this video, Dr. Lim will discuss the potential advantages of these novel regimens in light of the very effective therapies already available.
