Emerging Strategies and New Mechanisms of Action in the Prophylaxis of Venous Thromboembolism in Orthopaedic Surgery

Overview: This 60-minute interactive Webcast, geared toward an audience of European orthopaedic surgeons, focuses on current and emerging strategies related to assessment and selection of appropriate thromboprophylactic treatment for orthopaedic surgery patients. Selected sessions from the International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis (ISTH) Congress are the foundation for the educational activity, which is composed of concise faculty presentations and discussions that focus on the interpretation and translation of new science to everyday clinical practice for European practitioners.
