Med-IQ.
Inspiring Medical Education.

BALTIMORE, MD—July 29, 2014—Med-IQ, an award winning ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), invites oncologists and pathologists to join expert faculty for the interactive Webcast, Individualizing Treatment in NSCLC: Expert Perspectives on the Potential of the MET Pathway, and to read the CME publication, Advancing Toward Personalized Medicine in NSCLC: Exploring the Promise of the MET Pathway.

As evidence on key biomarkers and novel targeted therapies for non–small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) rapidly increases, the role of MET signaling must be explored and properly applied to improve patient outcomes. The webcast and publication offer clinicians an opportunity to review the role of MET signaling in NSCLC and provide strategies for identifying patients who may benefit from emerging MET directed therapies.

“Oncologists and pathologists need to stay ahead of the rapidly mounting data for the standard of care in NSCLC as it moves closer to personalized medicine tailored to the molecular profile of individual tumors,” said Corey J. Langer MD, FACP, director of Thoracic Oncology at the Abramson Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA.  “These CME activities offer first- line treatment insight on the potential influence of MET expression on NSCLC that can be incorporated in day-to-day practice.”
