Med-IQ.
Inspiring Medical Education.

BALTIMORE, MD—July 22, 2014—Med-IQ, an award-winning, ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), is pleased to announce the release of a summary of data and insights that were presented at the 2013 annual meeting of the American Society of Hematology (ASH).

Community hematologists and oncologists are faced with the challenge of keeping up with continuous changes in clinical evidence and applying new data to real-life treatment decisions. To help clinicians apply the latest data on current and emerging agents, prognostic assessments, and treatment regimens, Med-IQ has published Emerging Science and Expert Perspectives: Incorporating Updates From the Annual Hematology Meeting Into Practice, a summary of key findings from the 2013 ASH annual meeting that features world-renowned faculty in acute leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma providing their expert opinion in brief video clips.

“As therapies for hematologic malignancies continue to evolve rapidly, practicing clinicians need access to front-line data and findings to better guide them in providing optimal patient outcomes,” said Scott C. Howard, MD, MSc, Director of Outcome Evaluation and Morocco Programs, International Outreach Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “This activity provides oncologists and hematologists access to top-notch clinical data along with suggestions for applying the findings to everyday clinical dilemmas.”
