Inspiring Medical Education.

BALTIMORE, MD—June 18, 2014—Med-IQ, an award-winning, ACCME-accredited provider of continuing medical education (CME), is pleased to announce the availability of a live, complimentary CME activity in multiple myeloma (MM), Clinical Conversations in Multiple Myeloma: Improving Treatment Through Personalized Education.

In each customized teleconference, participants speak with a nationally recognized thought leader in MM and receive answers to their specific questions on managing patients with MM. During these personalized, CME-certified teleconferences, faculty present information related to optimizing treatment selection for patients with newly diagnosed and relapsed or refractory MM and focus on the unique clinical challenges and educational needs of each participant.

“In the past decade, the treatment of MM has evolved at a rapid pace, leading to improved patient outcomes,” said Sagar Lonial, MD, professor and vice chair of Clinical Affairs at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. “Because of these advances, selecting agents in the absence of direct-comparator trials can become challenging. These personalized teleconferences help guide hematologist/oncologists on individualizing treatment plans to maximize outcomes and minimize adverse events.”
